Tamiya gray primer with a touch of gunze 1200 white to lighten it up because i am going to leave it as it is for the underside followed by wet sanding with 1000grit pad for polish.
Kit turned out to be a fighter! I do have a curious curse, whenever a trusted fellow modeler praises a kit that he’s built it turns out to be the exact opposite for me. This particular kit has been mentioned as the best fitting kit ever HERE by no other than Dragan and yet what i had was an uphill battle in that regard, almost nothing fit and required manhandling which of course resulted in a lot of putty and sanding later on!
Another trouble was to go with the PE route again in 1/72 specifically, it’s not that i do not learn from past MISTAKES – i do but i had this profipak Albatros in stash way earlier. Most of the PE parts barely register as material believe me they are that tiny, if you can see check the dorsal spine for 2 antennae, they are relatively bigger ones so to speak.
Anyway, it’s time for 2 tone yellow & brown camo job now, stay tuned!
