primer: tamiya gloss black
white: tamiya flat white
red: tamiya gloss red + touch of flat base.

paintjob complete, needing touchups but no nightmares. i feared there might be paint lifting, overspray and paint leaking underneath the masks via panel lines but turned out to be way better than expected. probably burnishing tamiya masking tape helped alot despite using a flat white – no i didn’t polish the white prior to masking in order not to weaken the paint.

i am awaiting red to settle down, used a bit of acrylic retarder with the last pass then i’ll go about fixing the demarcations onto gloss coat for decals.
