Since last update i’ve continued with the wall and the roof, both are nearly done. I’ll add some rain drainage around the roof then focus on the groundwork so that everything else could be weathered at the same time.
Wall was first airbrushed with black white and dark greys for preshading,
Hand painted than drybrushed with various vallejo model colors in grey and white tones,
Further weathered with oil paints; first a pinwash into the mortar than an overall dot filtering to decrease the monotone in bricks as much as i could.
Repeated a similar process for the roof as well. Tried the snow dust that i mentioned in the earlier update, it’s promising for dusting or very tiny deposits but it doesn’t look like it can be used on vast surfaces – need more experimenting but i am happy with the result and i will repeat more of it later on when doing the groundwork.
